Our Theme for 2025 is "Beidh Aonach Amárach"

This year, Clonmel Show theme is #BeidhAonachAmárach. There is a twofold reason for this: we are the 'Aonach' here in Clonmel on the 6th of July and secondly, Clonmel is one of the agricultural shows featuring in the TV Programme 'Beidh Aonach Amárach', now on Series 5.  Many of us will remember the song from our school days, except this time it's 'Beidh Aonach Amárach i gContae Thiobraid Árann!'

Clonmel is Cluain Meala in Irish which translates to 'Valley of Honey' and we feel it only right to celebrate and promote honeybees, biodiversity and Clonmel’s history of honey making. We will showcase local honey producers as part of the TV Programme and how to help pollinators like honey bees in conjunction with the South Tipperary Beekeeping Association. The flower schedule reflects this theme, with classes catalogued for the more bee-friendly flowers and plants.

Clonmel Show will again host 10-12 local primary schools for their “mini show” in John Paul Park in Clonmel on 23rd May, 2025. The children will have a great time meeting sheep, calves, donkeys and ponies while learning about biodiversity and how they can help the environment and meet crafters practising their traditional skills and crafts with a chance to win family passes to the show.

With live entertainment, a diverse food village, top class showjumping and livestock shows and plenty of entertainment for children, the Clonmel Show is one of the biggest agricultural and horse shows in the country and a great family day out!

This year’s show is 6th July in Powerstown Racecourse. To buy tickets, please visit www.clonmelshow.ie where discounted family tickets will be available.
